CQC to fight ‘risk of bias’ against private providers

Professor Chris Thompson, National Professional Adviser on the independent sector at CQC, announced that the CQC is seeking to recruit more inspectors from independent hospitals as it is conscious of a “risk of political bias” towards independent providers.
